For
Immediate Release (Stafford Springs, CT)---Stafford Speedway has announced that G.H. Berlin Oil Company has renewed their Late Model contingency program sponsorship. G.H. Berlin will offer a $100.00 bonus to the second place finisher in each Late Model feature event during the 2008 season. With 22 races on the 2008 schedule, Late Model competitors will have an extra $2,200 to race for this upcoming season.
"We're excited and looking forward to being part of the Stafford contingency program for another season," said Rick Booth and Dave Waltz, co-owners of G.H. Berlin Oil. "There are a lot of Stafford drivers who purchase their oil from us, and this is a great way for us to be able to give something back to them. Rather than sponsoring a single car, we are looking to be able to give something to as many different teams as we can and help them offset some of their racing costs." "We're pleased to welcome G.H. Berlin Oil back to Stafford as a contingency program partner for the 2008 season," said SMS COO/GM Mark Arute. " With our television coverage, we are able to offer a unique opportunity to our sponsors on the local level of NASCAR racing, and we look to continue the success of our contingency program for 2008 and into the future. I think G.H. Berlin Oil returning for another season shows that our contingency program has positive advertising benefits on both local and national levels."
